Dr. Sagir Parkar is a distinguished psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, holding both general and specialist registration with AHPRA. He completed his medical studies at the University of Pune in India before pursuing psychiatry training in London, where he gained extensive experience across various hospitals and psychiatric specialties in the UK. Dr. Parkar earned his Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry before relocating to Australia, where he completed his Fellowship training in Brisbane.

With 20 years of experience in psychiatry, Dr. Parkar currently serves as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the public health system and is expanding his practice to include telehealth services for online assessments and consultations. He specializes in a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar affective disorders, schizophrenia, and other psychotic disorders. Dr. Parkar is also accepting referrals for Section 291 assessments and IME assessments.
