Dr. Sivanandh Budarapu completed his Master’s in Psychiatry in India and spent eight years at a leading medical institute before moving to Australia. After relocating, he continued his specialist training in Victoria and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
He has cared for people across a wide age range, from adolescents and young adults through to older adults needing more specialised support and his work spans multiple settings, including youth mental health services, adult and older-age psychiatry teams, emergency department psychiatry, and community mental health. This breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of the different challenges people face at various stages of life, as well as how care needs shift across settings.
Dr. Sivanandh currently works within the public health system and is available to see patients for Independent Medical Examinations and Section 291 Medicare assessments at Serenity Alliance.
